Allclear Demolition was tasked with the complete demolition, including slab and foundation removal, with material repurposed on-site in order to make prepare the site for 73 new properties.

Asbestos Surveys and Removal: Conducted by a subcontractor to ensure safety and compliance.
Service Disconnections: Successfully identified and marked underground services to prevent disruptions during demolition.
Internal Soft Stripping:
Recycling: Achieved a high recycling rate of 90% for materials like plasterboard and timber.
Safety Measures: Addressed the presence of 'sharps' with thorough needle sweeps, ensuring safety for operatives.
Sequencing:
Coordination: Prioritized tasks to enable smooth asbestos removal, soft stripping, and structural demolition in tandem.
Toolbox Talks: Conducted weekly briefings with visual plans to maintain clear communication among all site operatives.
Structural Demolition:
Machinery Use: Deployed 30-tonne and 20-tonne excavators with specialized attachments for efficient demolition.
Material Processing: Processed concrete and other materials on-site to produce 6F2 aggregate, used for future construction.
Crushing Operations:
Aggregate Production: Started in January 2023, using mobile jaw crushers to process arisings into high-quality 6F2 material for reuse. Grading tests of aggregates proved to be of high quality. 6F2 material was stockpiled on site for use by the construction contractor.
